C06 Elimination theory for deformed differential calculus
This project develops formal and algorithmic approaches to differential calculi on deformed spaces, as they have been suggested for deformation quantization in quantum mechanics. Elimination methods are developed for systems of differential equations in this context. This kind of differential equation is currently also considered in research on skyrmions in ferromagnetism. Integrability and parameter dependencies are investigated using the developed algorithmic techniques.
